Each of us has its own story and most will be willing to share it if providers show interest and help members feel comfortable with us. Most of the time, they will tell us where to go and how we can help them get there.
Everybody is muted when my teacher, Ma'am Joy was asking everybody to share our personal experience in sacrificing one thing which was gained by anybody from a member of a family. At first, I felt tongue-tied because I didn't know when to start running through my story, thinking of sacrifices which I thought ghastly occurrence happened in my preceding life. I gone through thinking of it until I later found out what to share.
It was an inspirational moment, having this kind of discussion in American and Philippine Literature subject and most of my classmates are getting denied who will be the first one to share. Until I took out the floor to get their sympathy while I am sharing my momentous experience with them, somebody was crying while others are keep on laughing. Because you can't really even know what to say if you are in my shoes. I have notice that a few of my classmates was inspired by my own experience even my teacher. It takes a hard time previewing it on my mind but if you are honest with yourself saying such a thing, I know it will linger and will never be forget to the mind of everybody.
I am hoping very soon that this would not be the last time to come across in sharing my personal experience with my chum, pal, comrade and best ever teacher, Ma'am Joy, we will not forget u :)
